Our community is eager to share our enthusiasm for sport as we welcome your teams, coaches and fans to our city, and help to cheer them on!

Fredericton’s ample selection of lodgings extends across the city, offering various price points and amenities. Let the Fredericton Sport Tourism Team leverage our strong partnerships with local universities (University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University) and the hospitality industry to provide you with the best facilities, logistics, accommodations and value for your event, its participants and supporters. Our facilities include:

  • Multi-use Grant Harvey Centre (2 Ice Surfaces)
  • Willie O’Ree (2 Ice surfaces)
  • 12 Grass Fields suitable for Soccer, Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee, and Football
  • 22 Baseball fields

Let our team help your teams. The Sports Tourism division is ready to work with you to secure the appropriate venues, assisting with site inspections and tours as required. Our team is experienced in writing competitive bids, and is ready to help you compose a professional, detailed package to demonstrate all that Fredericton has to offer. In addition, we are prepared to provide local marketing support, working to spread awareness of the event and fill the stands with fans of all ages.


Financial assistance may be available to non-profit local sport organizations in the development, operation and hosting of regional, provincial, national, and international sport events held within the City of Fredericton.
