Probably the most recommended stopping spot for anyone visiting Fredericton is the Boyce Farmers Market. It is THE place to be on Saturday morning, no matter the time of year. The aromas wafting from food trucks immediately draws you in, and it doesn’t take long before you are swept up in the heart of the community – talking to locals, grabbing a coffee, stocking up on breads, veggies and meat for the week. Need a gift or souvenir? This is the place to pick up locally handcrafted items.

Food Market at the Ex is Fredericton’s newest “grab and go” market offering a variety of international flavours: Greek, Syrian, Jamaican, Korean and Mexican. The market runs 11am-6pm on Friday, 9-4 on Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday. This market is environmentally friendly; everything is recyclable!

Garrison Night Market
Carleton Street | June 9 to September 8 | Thursdays 4:30 - 9 p.m.
Located in the old British military garrison, on the newly renovated portion of Carleton Street, the Garrison Night Market will feature local and imported handmade products, art, craft & design, clothing, locally-grown farm products, local microbrews, ciders & spirits, youth entrepreneurs, buskers, and, of course, food. A stage set up near the 104th Regiment of Foot pedway will host local musical entertainment adding to the festive atmosphere. The street will come alive with street vendors, busker entertainment, theatre and musical performances! This outdoor market will take place rain or shine.

Home to the Big Potato, this farm stand is a photo favourite for families during pumpkin season. Fresh produce is picked daily and ranges from potatoes, carrots, peas, pumpkins, strawberries and watermelon among others. Special events are hosted throughout the season.
Moxon’s Country Pumpkin

This locally owned farm has been in operation since 1960 and is a great place to bring the family. With farm animals, a playground, a bakery and ice cream, you will come for an hour and end up spending the day! Fresh veggies, homemade bread, pies and cookies will make your mouth water.
