The 26 craft alcohol producers in the Capital Region, ranging from new startups to award-winning breweries, all have their own unique spin on traditional style ales and inventive brews; you could say that there is a taste for everyone in the Capital City. With both quantity and quality in our favor, we are certain that Fredericton is brewing the best times in the East.
The Fredericton Taproom Trail
Sip your way through the Capital City with the #FredTapTrail, the first of its kind in New Brunswick! We all know the best way to get know a new set of brews is by visiting the taproom, we also know that each of our local establishments offer an atmosphere as unique as the flavours they are pouring – why not tap into the opportunity to get to know some of the finest in the city?
The #FredTapTrail is a passport-style map that allows craft beer and craft cider fans to choose their own taproom adventure. Every time you grab a pint or flight at one of the taprooms listed on the map, you will receive a stamp, enabling you to collect exclusive #FredTapTrail swag. Crafty connoisseurs who collect a stamp from all 11 participating taprooms with be entered into the grand prize draw!
Taprooms are the obvious place to start if you want to experience the full scope of what a specific brewery has to offer, but we also suggest checking out the local pubs for brews and bites. A great place to start is The Joyce Pub, with 36 taps ready to pour maritime craft brews, they are the only Fredericton pub that has dedicated ALL their taps to NB brews. Atlantic Canada’s Craft Brewing Capital has launched its very own currency for purchasing craft brews from our local taprooms! Brew Bucks are available for purchase exclusively from Picaroons Roundhouse in denominations of $5, $10 or $20 dollars and can be redeemed at any of our 11 Fredericton Taproom Trail partner locations. Cashing in your Brew Bucks provides the perfect opportunity to start collecting stamps toward acquiring some #FredTapTrail swag!
