Sharing Truths: A series of Wabanaki Experiences

The first installment of “Sharing Truths: A series of Wabanaki Experiences” will take place at Government House this Wednesday, September 28, at 6:30 p.m.

Judie Acquin will share the truths of her grandmother Virginia Acquin and Great Aunt Doris who were sent to the Shubenacadie Residential School in Nova Scotia.

One returned to Ekpahak; the other did  not.

As a descendant, Judie will share parts of their story, discuss intergenerational impacts and her path to healing.
