New Brunswick Day Celebrations 2022

You’re invited to New Brunswick Day celebrations on Monday, August 1st at the New Brunswick Legislature in Fredericton!
The day will be filled with great entertainment and fun activities for all. This free, all-inclusive event will take place rain or shine
Celebrations will take place from noon to 10:00pm, concluding with a fireworks display around 9:45pm from the Westmorland Street Bridge.
New Brunswick Day is an ideal time to celebrate why there is no better place to be than here in our province. We have so many stories to share and so many reasons to be proud.
This New Brunswick Day, we will be celebrating our province together through our music and our experiences with friends and family.
Performances will include:

Children’s activities from 12pm-4pm on the Beaverbrook Art Gallery lawn:
- Workshops at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery
- Jump rope
- Sidewalk chalk
- Hula hoops
- Bubbles
- Bounce rides
- Bounce slides
- Snow cones
- Cotton candy
- Popcorn
- Face Painting
- Balloon Artists
The Beaverbrook Art Gallery will have FREE admission from 12pm – 5pm
The Stella Circus will be on site with stilt walkers and roaming artists, juggling, and interacting with the children
Celebrating Emancipation Day will also take place on the 1st. There will be speeches at City Hall starting at noon followed by a memorial walk on the walking trail from City Hall to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery lawn with activities from 1:30pm – 5:00pm; activities are all FREE.

There will be food trucks and the NB Mobile Unit will be set up as an information and first aid booth from Noon until 10:00pm. There will be a selfie stand and public encouraged to take their photo.
FREE hotdogs will be given away while quantities last
Booths will be set up on the Legislative Assembly lawn giving away Explore NB cookies, refillable water bottles, flags, and tattoos.
