Markets

Keep it Local

Eat local! Support local! Fredericton sits in the middle of an agriculture-based region, and the local movement is strong in the city. Boasting produce, meats and hand-made products produced within 100km, the direct-to-consumer market includes Farmers’ Markets, u-pick farms and on site farm stands; we even have our own “local” grocer. While you are in our area, stop by one of these places and enjoy some of our homegrown goodies!

Markets

Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market
665 George Street | Saturdays 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Probably the most recommended stopping spot for anyone visiting Fredericton is the Boyce Farmers Market. It is THE place to be on Saturday morning, no matter the time of year. The aromas wafting from food trucks immediately draws you in, and it doesn’t take long before you are swept up in the heart of the community – talking to locals, grabbing a coffee, stocking up on breads, veggies and meat for the week. Need a gift or souvenir? This is the place to pick up locally handcrafted items.
