Markets

Please note: Due to COVID-19, hours may vary, please consult these businesses for any questions regarding their operations.

Keep it Local

Eat local! Support local! Fredericton sits in the middle of an agriculture-based region, and the local movement is strong in the city. Boasting produce, meats and hand-made products produced within 100km, the direct-to-consumer market includes Farmers’ Markets, u-pick farms and on site farm stands; we even have our own “Local” grocer. While you are in our area, stop by one of these places and enjoy some of our homegrown goodies!

Markets

Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market
665 George Street | Saturdays 7am-1pm
Probably the most recommended stopping spot for anyone visiting Fredericton is the Boyce Farmers Market. It is THE place to be on Saturday morning, no matter the time of year. The aromas wafting from food trucks immediately draws you in, and it doesn’t take long before you are swept up in the heart of the community – talking to locals, grabbing a coffee, stocking up on breads, veggies and meat for the week. Need a gift or souvenir? This is the place to pick up locally handcrafted items.

The Cultural Market
435 King St. | Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am-6:00pm, Mondays 9:00am-6:00pm
Nowhere else in Fredericton can you experience a traditional “cultural market” while shopping for such a wide selection of goods and services, ranging from international crafts, local delicacies or enjoy a delicious meal, featuring local and international foods. This vibrant market brings different cultures from around the world together under one roof.

The Northside Creators Market
The Northside Creators Market is Fredericton’s newest market addition. At this vendor-owned market, you'll find passionate people growing and making things they love.

Garrison Night Market
Carleton Street | CLOSED for the 2020 season
Located in the old British military garrison, on the newly renovated portion of Carleton Street, the Garrison Night Market will feature local and imported handmade products, art, craft & design, clothing, locally-grown farm products, local microbrews, ciders & spirits, youth entrepreneurs, buskers, and, of course, food. A stage set up near the 104th Regiment of Foot pedway will host local musical entertainment adding to the festive atmosphere. The street will come alive with street vendors, busker entertainment, theatre and musical performances! This outdoor market will take place rain or shine.
