Plan your March Break Getaway!

It's hard to believe, but March Break is just around the corner! Whether you are looking for indoor fun or outdoor adventure, the Fredericton Capital Region has tons of ideas to keep you busy this March Break! Here is a list of some activities and experiences for you to discover.
1. Explore the great outdoors.
There's no better time to get on the slopes! With temperatures getting a little warmer and the chance of fresh powder, heading out to Crabbe Mountain must be on your to-do list! This March Break, check out the ski hill with the largest vertical in New Brunswick and some of the best terrain in Atlantic Canada. Featuring 34 trails of all levels, a newly renovated lodge, and snow school, there is something for the whole family to enjoy!
Mactaquac Provincial Park has some great activities for the whole family. Cross-country ski or snowshoe on the trails surrounding the park, skate on the outdoor rink and the new forest skate trail, rent a fat bike, or get an adrenaline rush with the sliding hills.
Explore the great outdoors of the Fredericton Capital Region with free snowshoe rentals at the Fredericton Public Library or by renting a fat bike from Radical Edge or Savages Bike Centre!
2. Jump, Bounce, Play!
There is tons of indoor fun at Kingswood Entertainment Centre! Team up with your kids and join in the fun with some candlepin bowling on their automatic scoring lanes or a game of laser tag. The kids will have a ball in the toddler play zones and arcade!
3. Get Creative
A great way to spend the afternoon is by visiting Clay Cafe, a "paint-your-own-pottery" studio for all age groups. Find fun pottery and make beautiful art pieces to fill your home! The studio has over 300 kinds of pottery to paint, like bowls, mugs, teapots, vases, and more. Your big dilemma? Deciding which piece to paint!

4. Learn Something New
Explore Science East Science Centre! With over 150 compelling hands-on science exhibits, there is fun for the whole family.

5. Unplug & Escape!
No devices are needed here! Have fun without the electronics and be swept up in board games and puzzles.

Have you ever wanted to try an escape room? Escape rooms are live-action, team-based games where you and your group are trapped in a room and have 60 minutes to escape. This alternate reality adventure involves finding clues, solving riddles, completing puzzles, and overcoming obstacles to accomplish your mission and escape the room before time expires. 6. March Break for the Adults
Get a taste of why Fredericton is Atlantic Canada's Craft Brewing Capital! Try out the #FredTapTrail. With 11 participating taprooms, use a passport-style map and collect stamps from each one you visit to win prizes! Join us on March 11 at the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival as it brings together the largest selection of craft beer available on the East Coast.
7. Visit the Markets!
The Fredericton Capital Region is a market lover's dream! The most recommended stopping spot for anyone visiting is the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market. 8. "Maple, the First Taste of Spring" at King's Landing
March break is the time of year when the sap starts to run, and fresh maple syrup is ready for all to enjoy! A family tradition to many, we encourage you to participate in the fun this year! Head to Kings Landing to get the first taste of spring with sweet maple treats this March break! Happening March 11 & 12, this event celebrates the coming of spring and pays homage to the 200+-year-old tradition of collecting and preparing maple sugar.
9. Indoor Adventures
The Fredericton Capital Region is filled with fun indoor activities and unique experiences for the whole family to explore.
