Theatre St. Thomas has been entertaining audiences since the 1960s, with performances of musicals, new work, classics and contemporary theatre. Watch polished performances in the Province's only fully equipped Black Box Theatre. As well as Theatre St Thomas and STU's drama programme, it is presently the home of Theatre New Brunswick's The Next Stage, NB's only professional anglophone theatre company and also host to The New Brunswick Schools Drama Festival in the spring.

Technical Specifications: A 55’ x 55’ square with corners cut off at 135 degrees; floor to grid is 22’x 6” x 6”; all one level; floor is flat, black painted plywood (can be screwed into); walls are flat, black painted plywood up to 20’; after 20’ panels to 22’6”; there are two audience entrances with double (fire) doors at each. Seating: The possibility of three tier seating exists; carpeted riser units with folding legs make many configurations possible; seating riser units can be placed in any way in the Theatre; number of chairs is 135; chairs are sturdy and noiseless.
