Fredericton festival travel plans are a high priority for jazz and blues lovers when the city hosts its biggest weekend in the third week of September when 350 artists perform more than 130 shows at the nationally-recognized Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival.
HARVEST JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL, September 9 - 14, 2014
It's the best international festival experience on Canada's East Coast, with the best in jazz, blues and world music taking centre stage. During six incredible days in historic downtown Fredericton, the annual festival features over 350 artists and 125 performances on 23 stages, all within four city blocks. Acclaimed international performers and top regional acts share the stage for a music experience like no other. Expect gritty acoustic and electric blues, traditional and progressive jazz, rock, soul, Cajun/Zydeco and more. Venues include big top tents, theatres, national historic sites, closed streets, pubs and clubs.

MUSIC NB FESTIVAL, October 16 - 19, 2014
Downtown Fredericton will resonate in all things music as New Brunswick artists and industry professionals will be meeting over the course of four days to celebrate all the best the province has to offer. The highlight of the event, the MNB Awards Gala will take place on Sunday, October 19. Festival passes are just $40 +tax! Featuring some of the best documentaires from Canada and the US, award winning films from the Toronto International Film Festival, and special guests. Hosted by the NB Filmmakers' Co-operative.
