We can’t wait to see you in Fredericton!

New Brunswick’s capital city is the cultural hub of the province. An eclectic mash up of history, diversity, nature and a love for the arts makes Fredericton an inspiring place to visit!

Let us help you plan your visit.

How to get here:

  • Flying
The Fredericton International Airport is just 14 km from our downtown, and offers multiple flights daily through Air Canada.

Checker Cab is now operating a shuttle from the airport to the Delta Fredericton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Crowne Plaza hotels, as well as the core downtown area. Contact Checker Cab at 506-450-8294 or see the commissionaire in arrivals for details on fares, where to board, and when.

  • Driving
    We aren’t far away!
    • Montreal (8 hours)
    • Halifax (4 hours)
    • Boston (7 hours)
    • Bangor (3 hours)

If coming from the United States, Fredericton is just 60 minutes from the Houlton, Maine border and 90 minutes from the Calais, Maine border.

  • Bus
    Visit Maritime Bus for schedules.

Once you are here:

  • Stay at one of Fredericton’s friendly accommodations
  • Getting around the City
    • Fredericton Transit
    • Taxis
    • Rental cars
  • Visitor Information
Fredericton’s bilingually staffed Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is your complete information source for visiting our city. Brochures and details on local attractions, restaurant menus, accommodation bookings, and up to the minute tour and activity schedules are available.
