NASHWAAK MUSIC FEST, August 1 - 3, 2014
Nashwaak Bridge (30 minutes north of Fredericton)
Nashwaak Music Festival is 3-day, family-fun festival featuring 23 bands, kids activities, artisans, food vendors, free camping, and free admission for kids 12 and under. Located 40 km North of Fredericton in Nashwaak Bridge, beside the Nashwaak River on New Brunswick day weekend. Advance tickets are $50 for the weekend | $60 after July 19.

FREDERICTON BEER RUN, August 4, 2014
Start location: Delta Fredericton
Join the Fredericton Beer Run on New Brunswick Day as they host a run through beautiful downtown Fredericton, followed by some fantastic brews! There will be a 6km route and a 12km route. Registration for each costs $50, and includes a custom beer stein, running bib, and 14 tickets for 4oz. pours. Registration opens at 11am and the races begin at noon.

NB SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL, August 11 - 23, 2014 (August 10 - 22, 2015)
A two-week festival celebrating classical chamber music, featuring the works of selected composers played by Canada’s most talented classical musicians. Festival includes concerts, music discovery talks, free community performances, kids’ events and workshops.
ACADIAN DAY CELEBRATIONS, August 15, 2014 (August 15, 2015)
A variety of activities for the whole family to celebrate Acadian language, culture, and joie de vivre! There will be music, games for kids, a flag raising ceremony, and a tintamarre (parade) that will run from Officers' Square up Queen Street to Phoenix Square in front of City Hall!
STANLEY COMMUNITY FAIR, August 15 - 17, 2014

The Stanley Community Fair is Canada’s longest continuously running agricultural fair, established in 1851. It features a variety of events, including an opening dinner, a silent auction of fine local crafts, historical displays, variety of

A weekend of live music rock concerts in downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick! This year's rock festival will feature a line up of both regional bands and from abroad. Nova Scotia's Alert the Medic and The Trews will be performing, with headliners BILLY TALENT taking the stage Saturday night. Ed Kowalczyk of the band Live will headline Friday evening. Officers’ Square will come alive with the annual New Brunswick Fine Crafts Festival, hosted by the New Brunswick Crafts Council. Featuring original works by award-winning New Brunswick crafts people, this 50th Anniversary Celebration will not only provide a vibrant environment for community members to discover stunning, locally made craft, such as pottery, jewelry, sculpture, glassware, and wood, but also feature live art demonstrations, live performances from local musicians, a kids craft corner, local food vendors, henna and face painting, and a beer garden sponsored by Picaroons. Hours: Friday 12pm – 7pm; Saturday 10am – 7pm; Sunday 11am – 5pm. Admission: $3 (children under 12 free).

A tradition since 1827, the New Brunswick Provincial Exhibition is fun for all ages.
