MAYWORKS FREDERICTON, April 29 - May 7, 2016

Mayworks Fredericton will be a multi-disciplinary arts festival open to the general public. It aims to help build a culture and society that celebrates and recognizes the history and struggle of the working people of New Brunswick. The festival will span over a period of time before and after May 1st this year, the internationally recognized Worker's Day, and serves as an extended celebration of the day's significance to all workers and those seeking justice.
FREXROD CAR SHOW, May 6 - 8, 2016

FREXRod offers enthusiasts in the Capital region a much needed fix of automotive excitement. The end of April is the perfect time to remedy cabin fever, and by the time the FREXRod show opens its doors, the region’s finest caliber hot rods and customs will be ready for competition. Over 120 vehicles from rods, antiques, customs, trucks, street machines, bikes, imports and race cars will be on display.

There will also be a variety of other food choices from local food vendors. The festival features continuous live music from the best Maritime performers, midway rides, indoor and outdoor activities. New Maryland Day is an annual event, celebrating the village’s date of incorporation. This event provides many forms of entertainment for the entire family. Since its inception in 2010, the Festival of Lights has brought joy to the hearts of Pine Grove residents and has become a popular seasonal tradition for people living in the greater Fredericton area.
