JULY 2015  

NotaBle Acts Theatre FestivalNOTABLE ACTS SUMMER THEATRE FESTIVAL, July 22 - August 1, 2015

The 14th annual NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival, featuring a lineup of all new plays by emerging and established New Brunswick playwrights, will take to stages across Fredericton from July 22 through August 1. Productions include free noonhour outdoor theatre in Barracks Square, site-specific plays performed in unconventional locations downtown, staged readings of the winners of NotaBle Acts’ 2015 one act playwriting contest, and the festival’s feature mainstage production, Angel’s River, a poignant and moving coming-of-age drama set in rural 1960s New Brunswick. Join the Fredericton Beer Run on New Brunswick Day as they host a run through beautiful downtown Fredericton, followed by some fantastic brews! There will be a 6km route and a 12km route. Registration for each costs $50, and includes a custom beer stein, running bib, and 14 tickets for 4oz. pours. Registration opens at 11am and the races begin at noon.

Officers’ Square will come alive with the annual New Brunswick Fine Crafts Festival, hosted by the New Brunswick Crafts Council. A tradition since 1827, the New Brunswick Provincial Exhibition is fun for all ages.
