Fredericton Festivals and Fredericton Entertainment

Harvest Jazz and Blues Fredericton Festival

A vibrant cultural capital with a full dance card, Fredericton entertainment options and award-winning festivals are on the calendar 365 days a year.

Throughout the year, the Tannery Entertainment District offers up live music in local pubs and the Playhouse is home to high-quality performing arts performances. The Historic Garrison District offers free Fredericton entertainment every day in July and August.

And virtually every month, the City boasts a major Fredericton festival, from classic culinary events to giant music fests. Each event offers visitors an authentic insight into contemporary Maritime culture. There's the Highland Games and Scottish Festival in July, the NB Summer Music Festival in August, Dragon Boats and the Fine Crafts in September. Fredericton, New Brunswick hosts Canada's first Whiskey and Spirits Festival in October, the Silver Wave Film Festival in November and winter warms up with WinterFest in February, just to name a few. Visit our calendar of Fredericton events to take in all the action in this vibrant capital city of New Brunswick.

Fredericton festival travel plans are a high priority for jazz and blues lovers when the city hosts its biggest weekend in the third week of September when 350 artists perform more than 130 shows at the nationally-recognized Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival.
