Geocaching in Fredericton

Geocaching is an emerging tourism activity and the perfect way to explore the roads less traveled, enjoy scenic views and of course, experience the great outdoors any time of year! Think of it as an exciting treasure hunt - all you need is a map, GPS (global positioning) unit and a sense of adventure!
Fredericton Summer 2021 GeoFest
was developed by ranger170 of the Fredericton Region Geocachers in partnership with Fredericton Tourism, will require you to find the four Adventure Labs in Fredericton (Historic Sites of Fredericton by Samarito, Fredericton’s Railway Heritage by Friendly Forager, Fredericton Hidden Gems by ranger170, and Fredericton Craft Breweries by ranger170).
Each of these Adventure Labs will have a Bonus Cache published on the day of the event.
The Task is challenging - find all four Bonus Caches which will have an orange punch. Punch your passport to earn your commemorative Fredericton 2021 GeoFest Geocoin (limited to 150 cachers).
As you complete each individual Adventure Lab you will be provided with the information you require to determine the location of the associated “Bonus Cache”.
Find all four Bonus Caches and use the punch provided in each to punch the corresponding slot on the passport. Information on claiming your Coin is provided on the Passport.

The Fredericton Geocaching Tour
Enjoy Fredericton's wilderness and outdoors with Atlantic Canada's Best Geocaching Tour! The first bilingual geocaching tour in Atlantic Canada, includes 15 special caches divided into 3 themes: nature, culture and heritage.
Each cache on your passport has a corresponding Geo Cache code; receive the coordinates for a cache by searching the GC code on the Geo Caching website.
