With a flash of scarlet and a skirl of pipes, history comes to life! The Canadian Army was born in 1883 with the establishment of the Infantry School Corps, Company 'A' in Fredericton. Watch as period dressed guard re-enact a drill ceremony to the beat of a piper and rummer. Maybe you will be selected to 'inspect' the guard!

Ceremonies take place at Officers' Square in July & August:
7 days a week at 11am & 4pm (with a third ceremony on Tues. & Thurs. at 7pm)
Sentry duty changes on the hour at City Hall from 12-3pm daily. Local dignitaries inspect most Thursday morning ceremonies.

Come and play croquet in Barracks Square this summer! Put on a straw hat and participate in this old-fashioned past-time.

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 3:30pm in July & August.
