Wet Felting Landscape

This event is SOLD OUT.
Learn to make a felted landscape with instructor Margaret-Anne Smith.
Participants will learn about various kinds of wool and see how they work in this ancient craft of felt making and will explore two felting techniques (wet-felting and dry or needle-felting), play with colours and textures, and create a wall hanging to take home.
The instructor will provide samples and photos for inspiration and walk participants through the wet-felting and needle-felting processes.
At the end of the course participants will be given options for framing or ideas for displaying the finished work.
Participants should bring two old towels, a pool noodle and a spray bottle.
The instructor will have a few extras on hand, if participants are unable to source all these items.
