Sticks and Strings

Symphony NB core members, the SJSQ, Andrew Miller and Joel Cormier will join forces to create an eclectic concert of chamber music.

A work by Lior Navok will create dreamy and haunting sounds with the combination of strings and vibraphone.

The “not so” Simple Symphony by Benjamin Brittain will examine how string players can be boisterous, playful, sentimental and frolicsome.

And finally all together the sextet will perform Keith Bissell’s work “How the loon got it’s necklace” based on the British Columbia First Nations Salish’s legend.
