Metal Jewellery with a Pop of Colour!
Resin jewellery has been gaining popularity in the last few years. Using coloured resin inlay in jewellery will give a fresh look to your designs, whereas using image inlaid with resin, will create the everlasting keepsake. Using basic jewellery fabrication techniques, Audrée Hamelin-St-Amour will guide the participants in this course to create the jewellery of their choice and incorporate resin inlay to their designs.
Instructor: Audrée Hamelin-St-Amour
Audrée H.St-Amour has studied in Fine Arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and at L’école de joaillerie de Montréal. She is a 2012 graduate, with honours, in jewelry/metal arts at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she distinguished herself with an aesthetic rich in composition with the use of dissimilar design elements and materials. Since 2011, her work has been exhibited in numerous shows and publication in Canada and in the United States. She has taught in the NBCCD jewellery/metal art program since 2013. As she continues to develop and create her own “statement jewellery”, Audrée aspires to continue contributing to the domain of contemporary jewellery as an artist and as an educator.
