La course au vison

The Fous de la scène, Fredericton’s French community theater company, is proud to present its new production, the comedy “La course au vison” (the French version of “Not Now, Darling” written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman and translated by Claude Maher).

In 1967, in a Montreal fur salon, Alfred Desgroseilliers, one of the two owners, has difficulty keeping everything going afloat, while his partner, Jacques Radisson, is off philandering.

Radisson decides to sell his new mistress' husband a fur coat for an extremely low price in order to win her affection, and Desgroseilliers is stuck presiding over the deal. The husband decides to give the coat to his own mistress, and all hell breaks out.

“La course au vison” will take place Saturday, April 22 and 29 at 7:30 pm at the Bernard-Poirier Theater of the Centre communautaire Sainte-Anne (CCSA).

Tickets are sold at the front desk of the CCSA, at and at the door: $15 adults and $10 students. Info: 453-2731 or
