Increasing Traditional Rug Hooking Skills
During this 2-day workshop, participants will hook a small mat and learn about colour planning, shading and lettering. Join instructor, Elizabeth Bastin, for a review of traditional rug hooking methods and hints of the trade. There will also be time to explore the use of fibres other than wool. Your kit will include the pattern, backing and a selection of wool fabric. Bring along your hook, 14’ frame and scissors and enjoy the adventure. Those without hooks may purchase one from the instructor.
