Alex Janvier farewell ceremony

Offered in partnership with the Mi’kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre at the University of New Brunswick, Opolahsomuwehs (the Centre’s Elder-in-Residence, Imelda Perley) will facilitate a ceremony as the Alex Janvier exhibition draws to a close at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

Apc-oc knomiyul is the Wolastoqey phrase for farewell as we wish the Alex Janvier exhibition a safe journey to its next gallery.

Please join us for celebrations in the Jean E. Irving River Gallery that will include singing, drumming, dancing, and storytelling from local Indigenous artists.

Event is free and all are welcome to attend.

**The exhibition Alex Janvier, organized by the National Gallery of Canada, continues until May 21, 2018.
