Earth creatures with Brittany Schuler

Be inspired by William Morris’ peacock and dragon tapestry and explore techniques with pastels to create your own entwined creatures.

Brittany Schuler is a landscape artist living and working in Fredericton, N.B. She studied Fine Arts and French Studies at Mount Allison University. Her work is greatly inspired by her travels as well as the beautiful back woods of New Brunswick.

Animal, vegetable, mineral: where do art materials come from? Explore the material world of art with your map to locate each precious material and the art that it made possible.

Come visit painter Donald Andrus!

Donald Andrus is a contemporary artist living in Charlottetown, PEI. He was trained in the studios of Canadian War Artists, Charles Comfort, Jack Nichols, Aba Bayefsky and the American artist Charles Morey at the University of Toronto in the late ‘50s and early ‘60’s. He is our artist-in-residence from April 23-May 3.

Plants and their Pollinators with Shinaid

Support the wild ecosystem and the insects who live in it by inspecting and drawing an insect, plant, or seed!

Shinaid is currently studying arts at UNB and is specifically trained in ceramic arts through NBCCD. She draws her artistic inspiration from the wonder and science of nature.

Cello Serenades

Join Sistema NB Teaching Artists Yusela Perez and Lydia Mainville along with New Brunswick Youth Orchestra members Vincent Mambo and Sami El Ouazzani for an afternoon concert of diverse repertoire featuring the rich sounds of four cellos and music by Villa Lobos, Mendelssohn, Goltermann, Klengel and more.
