Would you like to design completely original clothing? Something that would amaze your friends and colleagues? Join Jaclyn Wilson in this five-day workshop as she teaches you to transform brown paper into something exceptional. Learn pattern development for fashion design – some quarter scale, some full scale - mock ups will be fitted for bodice, skirt and pant. Bring your basic sewing skills and leave with a new talent.

 

Instructor: Jaclyn Wilson
Jaclyn Wilson is an alumni of the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design. Upon graduation, she was at the top of her Fashion Design class and received acknowledgement for her overall design sense. Jaclyn has since been an instructor of fundamental garment design and construction, drafting, corseting and sewing techniques at NBCCD.  For the past 11 years, Jaclyn has owned and operated JW Couture, specializing in custom competition suits for fitness and bodybuilding athletes. Jaclyn prides herself on producing suits with a specially tailored fit, providing attention to detail, and ensuring materials used are of a high quality.
