2017 Indian Summer Games

Kingsclear First Nation is the host community for the 2017 New Brunswick Indian Summer Games by Aboriginal Sport and Recreation New Brunswick.

This week long event will bring approximately 1,200 First Nation Athletes, Coaches, & Community Volunteers to Kingsclear First Nation and City of Fredericton to participate in sports, such as; Athletics, Ball Hockey, Badminton, Canoeing, Lacrosse, Rugby, Soccer, T-Ball, Volleyball, Swimming, Basketball, Golf, Baseball/Softball, and Archery.

The 2017 New Brunswick Indian Summer will take place between Kingsclear First Nation, the City of Fredericton ball fields on Prospect Street (695 Queen Street) and the UNB Campus (15 Peter Kelly Drive).

Some sports that are being held at UNB are Ball Hockey, Badminton, Soccer, Volleyball and Swimming.

Events to be held in Kingsclear are T-Ball, Canoeing on the St. John River. Golf is being held at Mactaquac Provincial Park.
