
Sugar Bush Weekend - Kings Landing Historical Settlement
Costumed staff will be in the village boiling sap in iron cauldrons over an open fire, demonstrating the art of syrup and sugar making as it was performed 150 years ago. Children and kids-at-heart may sample a sweet treat of candy-on-the-snow made from the syrup right in front of their eyes. Pancake breakfast is served all day, and Sleigh or wagon rides will be available and the Kings Landing Museum Store will have lots of maple products available for sale.

Great Bear Campground & Sugarbush
Located in Bear Island, in Mactaquac Country run a sugarbush during sapping season each spring. Learn about the history of maple sugaring in this area and how the sap is collected and processed. In addition to the modern processing equipment, examples of antique tools and machinery are on display in the Bear´s Den In summer, campers can tour the maple groves, visit the Bear´s Den Antiques and see maple processing equipment.
