Sugar Bush Weekend - Kings Landing Historical Settlement
Costumed staff will be in the village boiling sap in iron cauldrons over an open fire, demonstrating the art of syrup and sugar making as it was performed 150 years ago. Children and kids-at-heart may sample a sweet treat of candy-on-the-snow made from the syrup right in front of their eyes. Pancake breakfast is served all day, and Sleigh or wagon rides will be available and the Kings Landing Museum Store will have lots of maple products available for  sale.

Great Bear Campground & Sugarbush
Located in Bear Island, in Mactaquac Country run a sugarbush during sapping season each spring. Learn about the history of maple sugaring in this area and how the sap is collected and processed. In addition to the modern processing equipment, examples of antique tools and machinery are on display in the Bear´s Den In summer, campers can tour the maple groves, visit the Bear´s Den Antiques and see maple processing equipment. Father´s Day Dinner - at Kings Landing Historical Settlement
Costumed re-enactors from the Maritime Civil War Living History Association will hold a civil war encampment . Learn about civil war recruiting in Canada, and take part in a drill. Lobster on the Lawn, June 4  
New Brunswick chefs prepare a variety of lobster dishes accompanied by other delicacies, spirits and beverages. Lobster on the Lawn is a delicious fundraising event that will once again take place in support of The Forever Fund & the United Way.

St. Mary's First Nation Annual Pow Wow,
Everyone is welcome to celebrate Maliseet First Nation Culture. Hear drum groups from Eastern Canada, see beautiful Native Regalia, arts & crafts. Participate in traditional ceremonies (including sweats), and sample the traditional Maliseet feast of fiddleheads & salmon.  Located on the St. Mary's First Nation Reserve, Fredericton North.
