Top 7 Fredericton Breakfast Spots!

Who knew that breakfast was such a hot topic? Frederictonians definitely know what they like when it comes to breakfast, and we would like to share some of the wisdom we’ve received from YOU!
Here’s a list of some of our “fan favourites”!
Sweet Belgian Desire | 23 Ashton Court
Doesn’t the name sound delicious? Many instagrammers enjoy this resto that serves all day breakfast, with their specialty being, (you guessed it!) Belgian waffles!
In addition to delicious waffles, they also serve an excellent Eggs Benedict, with a waffley twist! Check out their menu!
Isaac’s Way | 649 Queen Street
In the heart of downtown, Isaac’s Way boasts some unique items. If you are a vegan, enjoy the Tofu Scramble or The Avocado.
As Kelly Davis writes: The smashed veggie from Isaac's Way Restaurant is unreal. That potato + hollandaise is soooo good. Highly recommend! And Ben Harrison writes: “Isaac's Way is perfection in my opinion. I’ve never had a bad meal there, but the eggs Benedict is my fave!”
If the temps are right, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on their outdoor patio! Check out their menu!
Claudine’s Eatery | 138 Dundonald Street
Claudine’s has a very loyal following; their customers can attest to the great breakfast and great service that comes with it! According to Alyse Wilton: “Their breakfast sandwich on an English muffin is great! And their ham is the best in town!”
Well known for the varieties of eggs benedict like Shediac Lobster eggs benedict and buttermilk fried chicken and avocado eggs benedict, this eatery is definitely worth the visit! Just ask Stephanie LeBlanc-McIntyre: “My favorite is definitely Claudine's Eatery's Lobster Egg Benedict!”. You can check out their menu here.
Chess Piece Patisserie | 361 Queen St.
Fredericton’s own Parisian – style café, Chess piece not only has decadent desserts and super-savoury selections, they also have hard to decide faves like Spinach & feta croissants, pain au chocolat and sticky buns! Try it with their delicious variety of coffees.
The Cabin | 723 Woodstock Road
One of my personal favourites! Maybe it’s the quaint name, and the fact that it actually looks like a cabin or maybe it is the vintage mini jukeboxes on each table; either way, one thing is for sure: their food is pure comfort! Choose from the “Big Fella” or as Lyndsay Wark suggests, “The cabin’s chocolate chip pancakes”!
You are guaranteed to walk away with a full belly and a smile! See for yourself!
Lunar Rogue | 625 King Street
Popular local pub and whisky hot spot, the Lunar Rogue serves a mean Fish Cakes n eggs, ask Kelly Nicoll “Fish cakes and eggs at the rogue. Yummmm.”
As Katie Pierce puts it, “Lunar Rogue has super great prices and as a bonus you can wash it down with a caesar!
Choose a nice morning and have breakfast on their patio (safely spaced, of course!) Either way, you are in for a treat at this almost 40-year-old establishment! Check out their menu!
The Coffee Mill | 1187 Smythe Street
A Fredericton staple, this busy spot serves up yummy items such as Breakfast wraps, smoothies and their new “skillets” that are essentially breakfast in a bowl, served with warm hollandaise sauce; add a nice hot cup of coffee and you’re set for the morning! Ask Jennifer Drost! “Coffee mill! Consistently delicious! Love their coffee and classic breakfast #SupportFredLocal”. The only dilemma you’ll have is deciding what to choose from on their extensive menu!
