Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market

A weekend institution in Fredericton, described as a “time-honored, local tradition”, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market was founded in 1951 and is the city’s original and largest farmers’ market. It has even been chosen as Canada’s Top 10 Community Markets! Open Saturdays from 7am-1pm, you’ll find a great selection of local meats, cheeses, fresh produce, gift items as well as a variety of food vendors to satisfy every craving. Get a head start by having a yummy hot breakfast on site, courtesy of Red Seal Chef, Matt Mackenzie at ReadytoEat.ca, and then browse the vendors inside and outside, this is a great first stop on your market trail.
Cultural Market
435 King Street | Monday-Saturday:10am-6pm, Sunday: 11am-3pm
The Cultural Market brings a smorgasboard of international cuisine under one roof in downtown Fredericton! It’s your one stop shop for delicious international cuisine and local products; find vendors such as Warung Indonesia and Pinoy Point, along with artists selling their creations on a rotational basis. Conveniently located on King Street downtown, the Cultural Market showcases a variety of food from around the world as well as items such as meat (vegetables in the summer), baked goods, maple syrup, jewelry, soap, essential oils and much more.
Also on site is Loka on King that will dish up scrumptious vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free option as well as their premium coffee.
Grab some lunch and a sweet treat and enjoy your goodies sitting outside in their patio seating as you watch the world go by!
Northside Creators Market
170 Main St | Saturday and Sunday
Known as Fredericton’s Vendor Owned Market, The Northside Creators Market's new location is at 170 Main Street. Follow your nose and you’ll find see vendors such as Freddy Bean Roasters, British delicacies by The Wooly Pig Pie, Mom’s Goodie Jar and Yummy Samosas. If you look around you will also find unique gift items from the Bath Shack (pictured below), Art by Jim Middleton, Janine’s Stained Glass and so much more!

Food Market at the Ex
361 Smythe Street | Friday: 11am-6pm, Saturday: 9am-4pm, Sunday: 10am-4pm
Looking for a quick and delicious meal? The Food Market at the Ex is your destination! Located on the grounds of the Capital Exhibit Centre, individual vendors are set up in their own “hut”, serving Greek, Syrian, Mexican, Asian fusion, Jamaican and Korean! You can also find fan favourites like spiral potatoes, gourmet dogs and more! If you are looking for breakfast, you can even get that too!

The Garrison Night Market
Carleton Street | Thursday’s, 4:30–9pm, July 9–September 8
It’s back! The Garrison Night Market returns this summer in the heart of the Historic Garrison District. This outdoor market has 100+ vendors featuring local handmade products, art, textiles, locally grown farm products, local craft beer, buskers and more! Expect a different experience every week.
