To Market to Market…

Well, you may not find a fat pig, like the nursery rhyme suggests, but what you will find is an absolute plethora of local produce, meat and hand-made products produced all within 100km.

Make a weekend of it! Spend a couple of nights in Fredericton to truly get the most out of your market adventures! We’d love to help plan your market getaway!

Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market

A weekend institution in Fredericton, described as a “time-honored, local tradition”, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market was founded in 1951 and is the city’s original and largest farmers’ market. It has even been chosen as Canada’s Top 10 Community Markets! Open Saturdays from 7am-1pm, you’ll find a great selection of local meats, cheeses, fresh produce, gift items as well as a variety of food vendors to satisfy every craving. Get a head start by having a yummy hot breakfast on site, courtesy of Red Seal Chef, Matt Mackenzie at ReadytoEat.ca, and then browse the vendors inside and outside, this is a great first stop on your market trail.
