Apple U-Picks in the Fredericton Area

It’s apple season in Fredericton! Looking to make a homemade apple pie? Or maybe you’re just looking to have some family fun? Check out our complete list of apple u-picks in Fredericton and the surrounding area!

Don’t forget that U-Picks can sell out quickly, so it’s best to call before making a trip to your favourite orchard!

Charlotte’s Family Orchard U-Pick 
(506) 488-2630 | 2287 Route 102, Gagetown | Open now. Daily 9am-7pm | See the location on Google Maps

Paula Reds, Melba, Jersey Macs, and Yellow Transparent are available early in the season, along with plums, corn, squash and other vegetables. Later in the season, you can choose between 35 varieties including Honeycrisp, Cortland, McIntosh, Alexander, Wolf River, Dudley, Brunswicker, Russet, Jonagold, Ginger Gold, and Evangeline (a New Brunswick variety).

Fernhill Farm offers Cortland and MacIntosh apples for picking. Also available to purchase is fresh corn and other seasonal vegetables. 

Sandow Farm
(506) 363-2262 | 684 Tripp Settlement Road, Keswick| Opens Sept 25 – Oct 11, daily, 11am-dusk

Known for their apple orchard, this farm stand has no shortage of apples and apple related products like jams and jellies, fresh garlic and honey!  Sandow Farm are a no-spray apple orchard in Keswick Ridge, certified organic for six years. Their main apple variety is the Sandow apple. They have some mouth-watering recipes on their website such as the Best Organic Apple Pie: https://sandowfarm.ca/best-organic-apple-pie/ . Johnny Appleseed Orchard

Jersey Macs and Paula Reds will be available early in the season, while Macintosh, Cortland, and Lobos will be available mid-September.

Hazen Cameron & Son’s Orchards & U-Pick

Paula Reds, Macintosh, Cortland, Ginger Gold, Honeycrisp, Gala, Spartan, Empire, pears, and plums will be available at different times throughout the season.  

Looking for something to do while you wait for the apples to ripen? River View Orchard’s first ever sunflower maze is  will be open mid-September, Monday-Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm for $5 per person.  If you love the sunflower maze, be sure to check out their corn maze opening September 11!
