Fall in Love with Kings Landing this Autumn

There’s no time like the present to discover the past! Take a break from the bustling city life of the 20th century as you travel back in time to the 1800s and submerge yourself in history firsthand. This fall, create memories with your friends and family at this picturesque open-air museum.
Kings Landing was created in the late 1960s when the Mactaquac Dam posed the risk of destroying many historic buildings in the Saint John River Valley. Over 70 restored and reconstructed buildings were moved to sit on 300-acres of land to represent and preserve the history of early British Loyalist settlements in New Brunswick. Here you can roam a reconstructed village and get to know the wonderful characters that reside there. See a working sawmill, blacksmith shop and more; and who can forget our loveable farm animals. This village is brought to life by the sounds of chattering villagers discussing who might be the new schoolteacher and the smells of homes cooking meals for their families.
Pass to The Past is back! From September 1st to 12th, receive a free admission pass for one person to Kings Landing. How does it work? Well, it’s as easy as a wagon ride to your local New Brunswick Library with a valid library card to receive the pass. Be sure to visit your local library today for more information on how to get a pass and a library card; you won’t want to miss out!
