A Week Long Celebration of all Things BEER in Fredericton!
Ahhh….Craft Beer Week; perfectly timed with a time of year when we are all dreaming of warmer weather after the hibernating months of winter! (And let’s face it, this year definitely seemed like a hibernation!)
This year, Fredericton Craft Beer Week takes place Feb 28 – March 7 and is unlike any other year (surprised?); the one big change is the Craft Beer Festival has moved to October 15-16 (mark this in your calendar!), but that shouldn’t stop you in enjoying the many taprooms that call Fredericton home; from Graystone to Mama’s Pub and everything in between, there’s always a chance to fill up your glass with home-grown local bevvies!
What to do during craft beer week, you ask? How about earning some swag? Then the #FredTapTrail is calling your name! With 10 participating taprooms, earn stamps by purchasing your favourite craft brew and turn the stamps into some awesome prizes! If you’ve received some Brew Bucks for Christmas, now would an opportune moment to use them (or buy more!). Brewbucks is our special currency exclusive to Fredericton’s craft beer scene. Purchase them at Picaroon’s Roundhouse in $5, $10 or $20 denominations and work toward getting your special passport stamped to earn the said swag!
Conveniently taking place during New Brunswick’s March Break, there’s no better time to enjoy some grown up time as well! Our partner hotels have some terrific staycation packages that would “pair” perfectly with your Craft beer adventure. Care to enjoy some delicious food with your craft beer? Dine Around Freddy runs until March 7 with 28 local Fredericton restaurants, many of which offer suggested craft beer pairings, taking out the guess work for you!

Treat yourself to a TROPICAL STAYCATION in the Wilser’s Room!
