A guide to Supporting Local on the Market Basket

Fredericton Tourism recently launched “The Market Basket”, your go-to website to find all things local, homegrown and handmade for purchase online! Now you can find all the local vendors who sell online listed in one place, supporting local has never been easier! Holiday shopping? Someone’s birthday? The Market Basket has a local option for all occasions!
Our provincial capital, known as Atlantic Canada’s Premiere Market Destination, boasts 4 markets that all host unique offerings of handmade and local treasures. The Market Basket brings those talents together and presents them to you in a user-friendly interface that allows you to easily find a local supplier that fits what you may be looking for!
How does it work?
Choose from 15 categories ranging from prepared foods, to fine crafts and more, The Market Basket is a useful tool for finding the perfect handmade gift! You can filter through the list to sort by delivery options, whether you’re looking to pick up the goods at a market, get them delivered or shipped. You can also sort by market!
