Fredericton Region Museum

NB Sports Hall of Fame

Get to know your local sports legends at the NB Sports Hall of Fame! With countless activities like a simulation sports games and the Biomechanics and Sport Discovery Centre, you’re sure to have an educational (and entertaining!) day.
Family and friends can book a one hour visit of maximum 12 people (at least 1 adult over the age of 18); call the museum for more details.
Gallery 78

Look for the pretty pink house with the turrets! Gallery 78 has been offering a selection of the finest art in Atlantic Canada since 1976 showcasing painting, sculpture, original multiples, photography and fine craft. A great way to learn about regional art. While you’re there, check out the current exhibit, “Treasures II” by renowned artists Molly and Bruno Bobak!
Science East

Science East is a science centre located in the historic former York County Jail. Devoted to science discovery and hands-on learning, the centre has over 150 science exhibits that will inspire all ages and are perfect for family fun.

Unplugged: A Board Games Café

Fredericton Public Library

With free internet access, (currently two public computers are available for use) the library is open for those who want to browse and borrow materials. With friendly and knowledgeable staff, a reading area overlooking the Saint John River, children’s department, rotating art exhibit and ongoing programs and events, (check their Facebook and Instagram pages for a list of programming), the Fredericton Public Library is a great place to spend a rainy day or just to take a break from the heat.
Clay Café

You can paint your own pottery creation- leave it a day to be fired- and pick up your masterpiece. Clay Café is a “paint your-own-pottery” studio designed for all age groups. The studio has over 300 kinds of pottery pieces to paint, from plates, bowls, mugs, teapots, vases, and more!
