Local Frederictonians ‘Dish’ on the Best Takeout and Delivery Options!

Frederictonians have embraced the #SupportFredLocal movement, and for good reason! With the incredibly diverse range of food selections to choose from, we are blessed with a lot of choice! But don’t take our word for it, check out Fredericton Food to Go Facebook page; a great resource with lots of discussion, feedback and recommendations!

With the recent changes and restrictions beginning to relax, some restaurants are slowly starting to re-open. But, before heading out for date night, be sure to contact the restaurant directly.

Gillian Ash Richard wrote an enthusiastic review for 540 Kitchen:

“540 Kitchen & Bar did not disappoint tonight with birthday takeout feast! The North burger, Pad Thai, and sangria. So good!” Check out the review here.

The menu at 540 Kitchen is a compact one pager that includes all your faves, including the wildly popular pad Thai, burgers and comfort food like mac and cheese (with a twist!).  Simply send them a PM on Facebook or give them a call.

Described as “Chinese Fast Food”, this is what one diner says about A Bite of Beijing:

“We ordered from A Bite of Beijing last night. It was really good. If you like to feel the burn then order the spicy incense pot rice bowl * Also pictured are the jianbing (cilantro lovers: order this!), veg dumplings, Beijing noodles and Chinese popcorn chicken (a hit with my daughter)” Melanie Gullison‎

Also popular among diners is their egg tarts and wonton soup! Call 506-206-1205 to place your order.

If sushi is your “go-to” then there’s lots of chatter about Tomatachi sushi

“If you’re looking for delicious sushi, I highly recommend Tomatachi!! Best sushi in town IMO!” Samantha Shea post.

In addition to sushi, they also have tempura, teriyaki and bento boxes.  And for that extra challenge, use chopsticks!

While we are on the topic of sushi, there’s been quite few reviews about J’s Asian Kitchen from various patrons.  Here is what Joni Burtt‎ had to say!

“Bibimbap, Philadelphia roll, and pad Thai all made gluten free from J’s Asian Kitchen. Sushi was great, pad Thai was the best we have ever had!!”
