Live theatre, you say? How about some great music of all genres, standup comedy, and some holiday cheer to fill your calendar? The arts are alive and well in our city and we want to share with you our list of the 6 most anticipated Fredericton Playhouse shows to close out 2018 with a bang!

Classic Albums Live – Led Zeppelin, Houses of the Holy (Nov. 15)  

If you are a Zeppelin fan, then this is the music performance for you! The ever- popular Classic Albums Live series recreates popular albums of the ‘60’s and ‘70s, note for note.  The Led Zeppelin album, “Houses of the Holy”, was a turning point for this band, making it an 11x platinum success.

Ron James – Full Throttle (Nov. 23)

Ron James unique blend of side splitting humour, with his high speed wit and hilarious delivery make this stand up show a “stand out”! This show will have you laughing till your sides hurt!

The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe (Dec. 13-15)

Be immersed in the land “where it’s always winter, but never Christmas”! This classic C.S.Lewis tale is brought to life on stage courtesy  of Theatre New Brunswick.  Find out what is behind the wardrobe!

Messiah (Dec. 18)

There is nothing like Handel’s Messiah to really get you into the Christmas spirit! Guest conductor Michael Newnham along with the Louisbourg Choir will lift your hearts and spirit in this moving musical performance.

A Christmas Time with the Ennis Sisters (Dec. 22 & 23)

Get a little taste of ‘er! Newfoundland songstresses The Ennis Sisters bring you a concert that will be sure to get your toes tapping and hands clapping with classic carols to some down home Newfoundland tunes!

Measha Bruegergossman  - Christmas for my Hometown (Dec. 22 & 23)

Fredericton native Measha Bruegergossman comes home to perform  from her award winning album, “Songs of Freedom” as well as some gospel favourites of her youth.  You can enjoy two performances, Dec. 22 at 7:30pm and a gospel matinee at 2pm on Dec. 23.
