The Beaverbrook Art Gallery features works by Canadian and British artists and a unique sample of works from international artists. The Gallery exhibits an exciting mix of works from its own collection as well as works and exhibitions on loan from other institutions.

Science East

Science East is a science centre located in the historic former York County Jail. Devoted to science discovery and hands-on learning, the centre has over 150 science exhibits that will inspire all ages and are perfect for family fun.

Kingswood  offers a complete family entertainment centre on site with bowling, indoor playground, inflatable obstacle course, arcade games, fitness centre, lazer tag, and food court.

Unplugged: A Board Games Café

Unplugged is Fredericton’s first board game café; a great place to play a game and hang out with friends! With over 400 games to play, you will find everything from family games, kids’ games, party games, strategy games and more!

Fredericton Public Library

With free internet access, Wi-Fi, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a reading area overlooking the Saint John River, children’s department, rotating art exhibit and ongoing programs and events, the Fredericton Public Library is a great place to spend a rainy day or just to take a break from the heat.

Clay Café

You can paint your own pottery creation- leave it a day to be fired- and pick up your masterpiece. Clay Café is a “paint your-own-pottery” studio designed for all age groups. The studio has over 300 kinds of pottery pieces to paint, from plates, bowls, mugs, teapots, vases, and more!

Fredericton Bicentennial Tapestry Tours
397 Queen Street (City Hall) | daily at 3pm for the French tour and 3:30pm for the English tour | (506) 460-2129 |FREE

Visitors to City Hall can tour the Council Chambers where a series of tapestries, ‘The Last 200 Years’, are permanently on display. Produced in honour of Fredericton’s 200th birthday, two local artists created a unique series of 27 colourful tapestries depicting Fredericton’s history.
