Ria Mae and Classified to Headline Canada Day Activities in Fredericton

FREDERICTON, NB – The Fredericton Canada Day Civic Pride Committee is excited to announce top Canadian musicians Ria Mae and Classified as the headliner acts for this year’s Canada Day Celebrations, running June 30 & July 1 in New Brunswick’s Capital City.

Headlining the first evening on Saturday, June 30th downtown in Officers’ Square is Juno Award Winning hit maker Classified, also known as Luke Boyd.

Then on July 1st, ECMA and Juno nominated artist Ria Mae will take to the stage as the headline act of a full day of FREE Canada Day entertainment.

 “We are thrilled to have two of Canada’s hottest artists in Fredericton for Canada Day weekend ” says committee co-chair Charles Barry.  “As with the past two years, our kick-off party on June 30th will include 4 hours of free live entertainment in Officers’ Square. There will also be a licensed area and food vendors on site”.

“Then, on Canada Day we’ll have a full day of free entertainment and family activities. We’ll wrap up the evening with a gigantic fireworks display over the Saint John River.”  

The committee will announce the remaining musical line up in the upcoming weeks.
