Calling all summer edVenture-ers!

Paint, carve, quilt, sketch, and weave this summer with edVentures Fredericton - Atlantic Canada’s largest learning vacation program, July 7 to 22

Workshops led by artist-instructors are designed for participants of all skill levels who are interested in trying something for the first time or brushing up on skills they haven’t used for a while! Intermediate to advanced skill level workshops are offered for artists who want to continue to hone their craft. Most workshops are delivered in English, but some may be offered by bilingual instructors who would be pleased to speak in both French and English.

New this year: Beginner and Intermediate Soapstone Carving workshops, learn how to make a pattern and carve with soapstone to create treasures designed by you.

Let your edVenture take you outdoors! Try Watercolours on the Go – paint in gardens, heritage streetscapes, and other locations outdoors...provided mother nature cooperates! Turn people-watching into a new hobby! Urban Sketching will teach you Quick and Easy techniques for sketching people in action and at rest.

Tap into your own creativity in a relaxed, hands-on learning workshop, with individual instruction and small class sizes. edVentures’ extensive ensemble of workshops features specialized training in Visual Art, Mixed Media, Fashion & Sewing, Jewellery & Metalwork, Textiles, Heritage and Traditional Craft. Workshops are offered to visitors and locals alike in half day to five day formats.
