This week in Fredericton: July 17-23

Deep into the heart of summer we are! If you have a “Summer Bucket List” make sure to include some of our events and activities to round out your summer fun!

Paddling to celebrate our river!
Did you know that we have a heritage river in our backyard? The St. John River is one of Canada’s Heritage Rivers, and in honour of this, the Voyageur Brigade Society will mark the beginning of this trek from July 15 to 22nd beginning at Florenceville. The St. John River Wolastoq Brigade will arrive in Fredericton on July 18th and will be stationed on the ground of Government House.  View a detailed map of their route or follow them on twitter as they make their way to Fredericton!

The Little Gray Tree Frog

If you have no idea what this is, then this is a good time to learn all about it with a Frog Walk! Show up at the Hyla Park Nature Preserve July 20 at 7pm for this FREE informative tour of this preserved area on the northside of Fredericton.
