Hit the slops! Crabbe Mountain, home to the largest vertical descent in the Maritimes and offering some of the best terrain in Atlantic Canada! Bring the gang out and enjoy skiing for all levels.  March Break means Winter Carnival at Crabbe! During March Break, come out for some wintertime fun with things like a chili cook off, live music, fireworks, Sip & Tell, Maple Taffy on the Snow, Snowshoeing, and more! Get the full list!

Fredericton Craft Beer Festival Week
March 8-12 | Various Locations
In March, there’s lots to celebrate! For one, we can see Spring in the near distance, and a chance to sample Fredericton’s thriving craft beer industry! There's lots going on this week and into the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival weekend. From great food to a “tap takeover”, things kick off on March 8. Kingswood is definitely THE place to be for indoor entertainment! From cosmic bowling and lasertag to an amazing obstacle course and an arcade, this is where you will want to be! You can sign your kids up for the March Break Camps too! It's always a fun and exciting week filled with lots of indoor and outdoor activities plus a healthy atmosphere where kids can learn new skills and make new friends.  This is the place to be to keep your kid’s entertained, but adults too can enjoy the candlepin bowling with the kids  -and for even more fun, try cosmic bowling on Saturday nights! Located on site is a lunch counter and a Pizza Hut Express.  Make a day of it!

Looking to get creative? Clay Café is a “paint – your-own-pottery” studio for all age groups.  It’s a nice, relaxed, café-like atmosphere for anyone who likes to paint pottery, or for just a day of fun creativity!  The studio itself has over 300 kinds of pottery to paint, things like bowls, mugs, teapots, vases, just to name a few.  Your biggest dilemma? Deciding which piece to paint.

From Minute to Win it games and Reptiles to puppet shows, the Fredericton Public Library has lots for kids to do over March Break! And the recently renovated library space is perfect to tuck in with a good book to spend a snowy or wet afternoon.  Check out their facebook page for details!

Escape Rooms
This March Break – Escape!  An escape room is a live-action, team based game where you and your group are trapped in a room and have 60 minutes to escape. This alternate reality adventure involves finding clues, solving riddles, completing puzzles, and overcoming obstacles to ultimately accomplish your mission and escape the room before time expires.  A great team building or family thing to do! Science East

Learn science – the fun way! This interactive science adventure is waiting for you!  Housed in the old Fredericton gaol (jail), it is both a historical curiosity as well as a great way for everyone to learn a little science! Definitely worth checking out! This March Break, the staff at Science East have lots of cool things planned, from space exploration to fizz bubble pop chemistry, kids will learn science in the most interactive way.

Home to the infamous Coleman Frog, this museum in the heart of Officers’ Square, depicts the history of the York and Sunbury regions.  Explore its halls and learn a bit about the area.

There’s lots going on at Brookside Mall during March Break!  Catch Perley the magician, crafts, a bouncy castle and even a visit from the Shopkins and Paw Patrol characters! Check their calendar for more details.

March 6-10, 9am-5pm | Capital Exhibit Centre
Does your child love to bounce around? Here’s a great way for them to expend that extra energy – with Quilli’s Inflatables! For the whole week they will be at the Capital Exhibit Centre with lots of inflatables for kids aged 13 and under.  There’s even an area dedicated to toddlers under 3 years! Parents and kids under 1 are free; 1-2 years: $5 and 2-13 years is $10.

Wrap up your March Break in Fredericton with one of New Brunswick’s most popular traditions – maple taffy on the snow! Kings Landing’s 34th Annual Sugar Bush takes place the weekends of March 11-12 and March 18-19 (9am-4pm). Enjoy maple taffy, a mouth watering pancake breakfast, and burn it all off with a walk around the settlement and a stop at the Kings Head Inn for some Picaroons Simeone Jones!
