Looking for the perfect gift, Fredericton souvenir, or just like to shop locally? The Barracks Fine Craft Shops in downtown Fredericton offer the perfect opportunity to buy beautiful, handmade items crafted by local artisans!

Located at the corner of Queen St. and Carleton St are the Soldiers’ Barracks. Built in 1827 by the British Army to accommodate more than 200 British soldiers, the Barracks have a long history in Fredericton and are part of the Historic Garrison District. Today, the lower level houses the Barracks Fine Craft Shops. It’s in these shops that you can find handmade items created by local artisans.
